Now known as Gledholt Methodist Church.
A class was established in Marsh in the mid 1800s, but this had ceased to exist by 1880s and a room off Mitre Street was rented for services in 1886. An iron chapel was built in Mint Street c1886 and the Gledholdt Wesleyan Methodist Circuit was established in 1888. A chapel was built at the corner of Westbourne Road and Blacker Road (later known as Edgerton Green Road) at Gledholt 1889-1890. The iron chapel building moved from Mint Street and placed next door to chapel to be used as a Sunday School c1890. A Sunday School was built on the same site as the iron building in 1908. In 1914 the Sunday School was demolished and a new one plus a church hall was built next to the chapel. The Sunday School was used an army convalescent hospital c1915-1918 and as premises for the Royal Corps of Signals 1939-1945. In 1968 the Sunday School was renovated and by the 1990s the congregation used the Sunday school for most of their services. Eventually the Sunday School was sold and converted into flats; the chapel was refurbished in 2001.
The church is still in existence in 2009.
