Previously known as Norristhorpe Ebenezer Primitive Methodist Church.
Established 1883, using a cottage in Balmfields.
Iron chapel erected in Huddersfield Road 1887; building had previously been in Brookfield Road in the East End of London and was transported to Yorkshire in sections by rail.
Larger stone chapel built on same site 1905-6.
Closed in 2005.
